What is ``Breaking the Blockchain``?

Crafty Bastards® and Suits and Spooks™ have joined forces to present a workshop on the digital security challenges facing Blockchain implementations such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies as well as proposed use cases for secure voting, IP protection, and more.

Before any problem can be solved, it has to be understood. Kiernan Group Holdings created Crafty Bastards® to provide its clients with a structured methodology that breaks down a complex problem into its component parts, then through the interaction of subject matter experts with participants, identifies opportunities for innovation.

Central to the Crafty Bastard approach, is the assembly and leveraging of the talents of experienced practitioners from a broad range of public and private sectors to uncover and undermine the threats that may not have previously known to exist. The convergence of this expertise illuminates dangers embedded in plain sight, differentiates adversaries from potential allies amid the chaos of broad social and political change, and expands the collective capacity to respond in the face of complex problems in more versatile, more creative, and timelier ways. The variety and depth of skills allows for the overlay of unique perspectives on the given set of challenges, while accounting for diverse cultures, context and tactics in the analysis and development of solutions, both human and technological.
