Executive Director | Automotive ISAC
Faye Francy is the Executive Director of the Aviation ISAC where she is working to establish a robust global Aviation Information Sharing & Analysis Center (A-ISAC), a non-profit organization based in Annapolis Junction, Maryland. There are seven founding members, including airlines, manufacturers and suppliers from across the aviation sector that are collaborating to create a framework for analyzing and sharing information regarding physical and cyber security threats across the global community. Ms. Francy is responsible for establishing, implementing and overseeing the organization’s mission, goals, policies and core guiding principles.
Ms. Francy is employed by Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and on loan to the A-ISAC for one year. Previously, she lead BCA’s Cyber ONE engineering team, which is an enterprise-wide Community of Excellence (CoE) group that collaborates across the company focused on leveraging the best of Boeing in the cyber domain.
Previously, Ms. Francy was the Director of the Networked Systems Domain in the Enterprise Technology Strategy office reporting to the Office of the CTO from 2008-2011 She managed in excess of $150M in research and development portfolio across the enterprise focused in the area of networked systems, and included cybersecurity. Ms. Francy joined the Boeing Company in 2001 as Director of Engineering and Programs in the Air Traffic Management (ATM) group. Ms. Francy was the Director of FAA Programs at ARINC Incorporated and also owned and operated 2 private companies – Intersec and AvSec prior to joining ARINC.
Ms. Francy has a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and Mathematics from Towson State University and a Master Degree in Forensic Chemistry from University of Pittsburgh. Faye is also an AIAA Associate Fellow.
